The Confederation of Business Organisations of Castile and Leon (CECALE) keeps on working one more year for the social and labour integration of foreign workers in our region.

Since CECALE signed in 2003 the Agreement for the Social and Labour Integration of the Immigrant Population of Castile and Leon with the regional Government, there have been developed many initiatives, like the Information and Advising Service for Companies , regarding immigration.

This service, was also personally offered in each and every Provincial Business Organisation that are part of CECALE.

As a complement to these actions we have also given training courses in order to qualify or requalify immigrant workers to integrate them in our labour market or to improve their employment abilities. We have also organised sectorial and intersectorial conferences that have taken place in the provinces of our region in order to inform and to raise businessman/woman awareness, trying to cover their employment offers.

Three years after the implementation of these actions, CECALE has ratified this same year the Agreement for the Social and Labour Integration and the Employment access of the Immigrant Population of Castile and Leon 2006-2009 .

With this new prospect, the Confederation of Business Organisations of Castile and Leon wants to guarantee the existing services as well as to increase new services that may improve the companies of Castile and Leon, taking into account their production needs and enhancing the employment possibilities of our workers.
